Internal compression works with the BioSync system to ensure the Wasatch will stay close to your back and move with you during the most rigorous activities.  Gregory’s tube management system keeps your hydration tube in place on the harness so it’s always close at hand.Amazon.com Product Description
The Gregory Wasatch technical backpack is comfortable, lightweight, and versatile, making it ideal for a long day hike or a bike ride through the country. The Wasatch is outfitted with Gregory’s BioSync ATS system, an innovative suspension system inspired by the biodynamics of the human body in motion. In BioSync ATS packs, the shoulder harness and pack body are joined together by a set of artificial tendons that allow the harness to stretch into the ideal fit. This helps the pack follow your every move while on the trail. The waist belt uses the same BioSync technology while also wicking away moisture, keeping you dry and comfortable during the most rigorous trail activities.

Space-wise, the Wasatch offers 720 cubic inches of storage, with a sizable main compartment, an expandable front stretch-mesh pocket large enough for extra layers or a helmet, dual stretch-mesh waist-belt pockets with cargo stabilizer loops, side mesh pockets, and a front pocket with a mesh organizer. The pack is also hydration compatible, with a hydration sleeve, exit port, and tube management system. And to keep the pack compressed and snug against your back while you hike or ride, the Wasatch includes an internal on-the-fly compression system. Other features include an Aero-Mesh back panel, a webbing loop for securing a bike light or reflector, a key clip, and reflective accents. All Gregory packs carry a lifetime warranty.

About Gregory Mountain Products
Company founder Wayne Gregory–who designed his first backpack at 14 as part of a Boy Scout project–opened Gregory Mountain Products in 1977 in San Diego, California. From the start, Wayne wasn’t just meticulous about designing packs that improved upon fit and used the best materials available, he also wanted to know how his designs worked in the field and what he could do better, a heritage of accessibility that has continued to the present. In the early days, he loved to talk tech with customers at his retail store in San Diego, asking for feedback on what worked and what didn’t. Ultimate, Wayne realized that fit was king in the backpack business, and he pioneered many firsts, including being the first company to build backpacks in different frame, harness, and waist belt sizes; the first (and still only) pack manufacturer to develop a waist-belt system that adjusts to fit different hip angles, automatically improving load transfer; and developing the center-locking bar tack, a stitch that ends and locks off on the center of a seam instead of the side to improve strength at the major stress points. From the earliest days, Gregory packs were noted for their innovative design, ergonomic and comfortable fit, and high quality.
