Even those these are labeled as mountain biking shoes, I wear them nearly every day for my road bike trips (20-25 miles, typically). They’re extremely comfortable for riding, and unlike road bike shoes they’re good for walking around if you want to stop to get a cup of coffee or pop into a store.
